rebuttal to Aerial Cavalry of readmeinc.blogspot.com

pagpasensiyahan mo na aerial at dito ko ipoposte ang sagot ko regarding sa issues that you wanted to discuss sa http://www.readmeinc.blogspot.com dahil nasa china ako ngayon and restricted ang blogspot to be commented. hanggang browsing lang. Anyway, mahaba ang poste mo and I made it in JPEG format your posts sa kabila because I cannot also copy and paste it here. Now, let me start by saying, hello!

at eto ang mga rebuttals ko sa iyo..

sabi mo: “Eh di i-quote mo ang ENCYCLOPEDIANG sinasabi mo, kesa ganiyang nagkukuwento ka lang…”

I will cite the encyclopedia I used, but I cannot give to you the page since I am not bringing an encyclopedia but using only its online counterpart. According from the source: “…The Roman Catholic Church traces its history to Jesus Christ and the Apostles.” [though the original sentences used in the hard copy of it is different but still ended with the same conclusion].

You said: “…bakit hindi mababasa sa Biblia? Bakit kahit sa Bibliang KATOLIKO hindi mo mabasa? Na ang itinayo ni Cristo sa Jerusalem ay ang “IGLESIA KATOLIKA”?

Now, when you asked about on why it is not written in the Bible? Again, we should not argue on word play. Technically, you used the name-call of “Iglesia ni Kristo” [Church of Christ] which is admittedly not registered to God Himself but to the state-alone, but take note that there were hundreds of churches outside the Catholic Church who also used that term. Mr. Karl Keating already emphasized it that in U.S.-alone, there were many sects who uses that name-call as to define themselves as the true church. Now, let me cite to you examples of churches who also used your argument.

The Churches of Christ. [www.church-of-christ.org]
The Church of Christ (Latter day Saints) [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_Christ_(Latter_Day_Saints)]
The United Church of Christ [www.ucc.org]
Church of Christ (non-denominational) [http://www.roundlakechurchofchrist.com/]
Church of Christ [http://newtestamentchurch.org/]
Churches of Christ [http://church-of-christ.org/churches/Philippines/Philippines.htm]
Church of Christ [independent] [http://www.church-of-christ.com/good_news.htm]

These are some of the hundreds more listed who used the term church/es of Christ. So the wordplay that you wanted to deal with me is non-sense and has nothing to do with the veracity of who, what and where the true Christ’s Church is.

Now, as you are asking for a biblical verse on where can we read in the Bible that the Catholic Church is the true church of Christ? Obvious aerial, we will not argue on literalism but we shall proceed on the events written in the Bible. [Though there are verses in which there is “kata holos” is mentioned as equivalent to “katholikos” and eventually Catholic]. Now, spare me to cite this Biblical verse and observe the significance of the event to how the Catholic Church before, today and tomorrow.

Romans 1:1-9 [DRV]

1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.

2 Which he had promised before, by his prophets, in the holy scriptures,

3 concerning his Son, who was made to him of the seed of David, according to the flesh,

4 who was predestinated the Son of God in power, according to the spirit of sanctification, by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead:

5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name:

6 Among whom are you also the called of Jesus Christ:

7 To all that are at Rome, the beloved of God, called to be saints. Grace to you and peace, from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

8 First, I give thanks to my God, through Jesus Christ, for you all: because your faith is spoken of in the whole world.

9 For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make a commemoration of you:

Take note: St. Paul is pleased to the faith of the Romans which scattered all over the world. In which they adhered to the teachings of Jesus and is given the privilege to propagate the gospel through them. And result? The Catholic Church.

The Name Roman Catholic Apostolic Church is definitely not in the Bible.

This RCAC is just a man made Church and not of God.

how can this be? if we can read in the Romans 1 that it is in Rome were the apostle is glad that their faith had spread all over the world..it cannot be your church since your manmade church existed later on after or during reformation..who’s foolish that could claim even if he/she has no basis in the Bible and in history..do you have any empirical proofs to claim? nada..

Remember,we are talking here about the name of the Church Christ’s built.

So,if it is the Holy Roman Catholic Apostolic church built by Christ,..it should be clearly written in the Bible.

But nowhere in the bible cud we fine this name ‘Holy Roman Catholic Apostolic Church’.

we have to understand that we must not argue on the word game..every church can claim the name of the chuches described in the bible so it is not a valid argument..the essense will always be seen in the Biblical aspect of the Biblical Church, it is like the word bible, of which we cannot even read it in every page of the Bible itself, like the list of the books to be put in the Bible, no apostles had claimed that their written works were included in the Bible, so your argument is futile.
